The School of Dance Arts is located in Florence, South Carolina and is owned and operated by Niki Chavis. Established in 1975, the school offers instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and CheerDance.

The School of Dance Arts provides a qualified program of intensive dance for those who may wish to dance professionally as well as provides the community with a dance school dedicated to the development of its students at all levels. The curriculum is designed to develop strength, flexibility, endurance, and most importantly to enjoy the art of Dancing!

The dance season begins each fall and continues for a 9 month period. Recitals are held annually at the Florence Little Theatre to highlight the skills mastered during the dance year!

The school is gearing up for an exciting summer filled with Dance and Cheerleading Camps for ages 3 and up as well as Ballet, Hip Hop and Jazz workshops for the more advanced dancer!

Throughout the year, students are featured at local festivals and events to showcase their talents.
